Abstract

In this essay, the political theory of Hannah Arendt is discussed with a special focus on her fundamental separation of politics from philosophy. This dislocation grounds the Arednt´s political theory and explicates not only her radical distinctions between politics and the realms of nature, the social and the economy, but also her critique of totalitarianismEn este ensayo se discute la teoría política de Hannah Arendt, especialmente en lo que respecta a su fundamental separación de la política y la filosofía. Esta disociación es lo que, precisamente, sustenta la teoría política de Arendt y explica no sólo sus radicales divisiones entre la política y los ámbitos de la naturaleza, lo social y la economía, sino también su crítica al totalitarismo.
