El discurso colonialista en África y Oriente Medio: De la misión civilizadora a la misión democratizadora

Abstract

Entre principios del siglo XX y principios del XXI, la historia se repite. La lucha entre las naciones por dominar el mundo y repartir los recursos sigue latente. Los mismos actores, las mismas víctimas de siempre, África y Oriente Medio, una zona rica y apetecible para saciar el apetito del nuevo capitalismo internacional. Sykes-Picot puede reescribirse en un nuevo tratado Kerry-Lavrov. Los acontecimientos bélicos en África desde finales de los años noventa, la llamada Primavera árabe, la intervención en Afganistán e Iraq, las tensiones con Irán, todo ese montaje es una manipulación por parte de las potencias coloniales en su afán de dominar el mundo y buscar nuevas formas acordes con la nueva era. La ciudadanía necesita un despertar para frenar los abusos del nuevo capitalismo.History repeats itself from the beginning of the 20th Century to the beginning of the 21st. The struggle between nations to dominate the world and share its resources continues. The same actors, the same victims, Africa and the Middle East, a rich and appetizing area suitable to quench the appetite of the new international capitalism. Sykes-Picot could be rewritten as the new Kerry-Lavrov treaty. The African military conflicts since the late 90’s, the so called Arab spring, the interventions in Afghanistan and Iraq, the tensions with Iran, this whole production is a manipulation perpetrated by colonial powers determined to rule the world in ways that are in keeping with the new era. Citizens need to awaken to curb the abuses of the new capitalism.
